Jiangsu China-Israel Industrial Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as JCIITRI) is a core part of the innovation system of China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (hereinafter referred to as CICP). Under the cooperative framework between the governments of China and Israel, the Institute highlights Israel's technologies and focuses on the development needs of strategic emerging industries in Jiangsu and of Israel's scientific and technological innovation enterprises. The Institute aims to create an open innovation platform, integrate innovative resources of China and Israel, break technological bottlenecks encountered by enterprises in Jiangsu, open a channel between the two countries for commercialization of research fruits, foster industrial upgrading and new growth momentum in Jiangsu, and thus promote win-win economic developments in China and Israel.

  • Used to serve as a visiting professor, doctoral supervisor or Changjiang scholar in National University of Defense Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Institute of Automation in Chinese Academy of Sciences and Harbin Institute of Technology and other universities. Li founded the Department of Control and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Shenzhen Graduate School of Harbin Institute of Technology, cooperated with Guangdong University of Technology to establish the Guangdong-Hong Kong Robot Institute and cooperated with Hunan University to establish the School of Robotics, Hunan University, and produced many innovative talents for the hi-tech sector.
